This post perfectly represents what happens to many Organizations when they engage a major Cloud/MSP for the very reason that they believe “bigger is better.” Fact is: many Big Clouds and MSPs do not have your best interests in mind and will not treat your needs with priority!
Before you engage: Bad Cloud / MSP has the answers to all your questions – the answers you want to hear.
After you are obliged by contract / commitment / terms-of-service: Bad Cloud / MSP disappears behind the fine print, leaving your Organization to fend for itself, either ignoring your tickets & emails, or simply responding within the SLA and deferring the matter for an almost unlimited period of time!
A good Cloud or MSP should know your Organization as well as you know them, and should provide full access to your solution! Moreover, your Cloud or MSP should stand behind their services and SLA, either delivering what’s promised, or providing a refund. Don’t put up with hiding behind the fine print – contact a Cloud or MSP like my employer, VMsources, that will put your needs first!
